Best. Day. Ever?

Let me preface this by saying that I, in no way, buy in to a date on a calendar possessing any power to be good or bad.  Now, allow me to continue…

I’ve always had good Friday the 13ths, at least as long as I can remember.  It’s not like I walk in to a store and find out I’m the millionth customer or anything like that, but these have traditionally been good days for me. 

Things to look forward to today: payday, celebrating my best friend’s birthday, being a month closer to paying off my car and student loan, getting some sleep, and kicking off the weekend.  That’s a pretty good list on its own.  Add along the usual “good vibes” that come out of this day for me, and it should be another winner.

It’s already been a good overnight at work, and I’m pretty optimistic about what else will be good. 

Now…

I’m sure one of these Friday the 13ths, my streak will be over, but hopefully it won’t be today.
