Life Needs Entrance Music

One of the things I am working with my commentating partner on for the 19th is picking a song for us to bust through the curtain and down the ramp gym doors to.

Making an entrance really is one of the most fun parts of the entire show for me.  I mean, how often do I get to walk into a room semi-on cue to a song blaring in the background and people reacting?  Answer:  Only when I’m home alone and said “reacting” is me making that breathing noise with my mouth that makes it sounds like there’s a crowd.  But even that gets old after awhile (quick note: no, it doesn’t).

I really think life could use entrance music… and music in general for that matter.  Whenever a restaurant server drops a tray, I think the chorus to Daniel Powter’s “Bad Day” should start playing automatically; no questions asked.  It just seems so appropriate.

So, yeah.  Life doesn’t just need entrance music, it needs reaction music.  At least we get a little taste of this when we drive.

ha! that would be great. I’m going to walk around with a big boom box on my shoulders with lots of song clips queued up from now on
