Taking it In
February 4, 2009 Leave a Comment
It’s the middle of the week, and I’ve realized my first two entries have been feature blog posts. Actually, what I wrote Monday was nowhere near what I intended it to be. I was thinking about doing a simple post about an upcoming show I’m doing, throwing in a nostalgic picture and calling it a day. I realized, though, that it would be better to catch you up to speed versus dropping the bomb that I commentate pro wrestling.
In having this blog open for two and a half weeks now, it’s been interesting to watch what has grabbed people’s attention about it; especially the search results. I’m beginning to think I could start a blog about Scrubs and it be a hit. By the way, what’s up with what happened to Ed last night? I guess he brought it on himself, but definitely go check out the second episode from last night online somewhere (free and legal at www.abc.com).
God has been teaching me great things and taking me deeper in His truths through the Crown class I’m taking, as well the book Crazy Love by Francis Chan. I hardly ever finish a book, and I’m on my way to finishing a second one in a month’s time. Okay, so I’ve had the Chan book since October, but finally made it past my usual stopping point, chapter two, last week (which is appropriately-for-me named, “You Might Not Finish This Chapter.”)
Business is picking up on the work front, and things are definitely going well. With new responsibilities come new balances, and time management is always essential. Ratings were great as well.
Other than that, I think I need to start going through some old VHS cassettes of local “rasslin” matches on mute and brush up on my commentary.
Hope you’re having a great week, and be sure to stop at some point and take it in.
