So Much Pressure

Did you ever hear about how people want teachers to stop using red pens for grading because they come off harsh to students?

Well…

What’s the deal with the blinking cursor that lures you into blogging and haunts you when you can’t think of anything to write?

Someone needs to lock it up, as I’m pretty sure it had something to do with why you don’t hear much out of the Microsoft Office paper clip these days.  No, I do not have evidence… just a hunch.

I use a green pen instead of a red because I like the color more, but my comments on student papers are far from harsh.

Yeah, I don’t see you being a harsh commenter… commentess? Not sure if you heard, but that was a real thing a few years back. I don’t remember the exact story, but there was a debate about how the red ink was scary or something like that. Schools I went to used to have red pens on the supply list for those times when students checked their own answers though, so I’ve always been brought up with it. Green, purple, blue, etc. work too. It took all colors to get me to a diploma.
